Angry Storage

As we get more & more games for guild wars now,i think it is time anet increased the size of our storage again, because we all collect things & now that mini pets are customized,we have to keep them in storage etc or just give them away, but then other players cant use them,we all like armor & as players like to have more than one set of armor per character, this takes up alot of room

no
if each char hd its own storage you couldnt trade stuff from char to char.
storage is small so you cant keep everything you find, thus keeping merchants stocked with runes and such

That's it. That would just be like bigger packs or something like that.
Another storage for customized items(100 slots), and another one for trophies (another 100 slots) should be enough. Account wide, of course.

or we could use my idea http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10195217
and not have to worry about minis and armor taking up space, i think that would be fine with me.

Enough storage is never enough. If they quintrupled the size of storage, people would eventually fill it and demand more.
So no. /notsigned

If a.net did increase storage, I'd be gratiful and all, but I'm not crazy enough to demand it.

I don't think our general storage needs any further upgrades, but I would cut off my left arm to get an Armor Storage of some sort. If anything, it would encourage players to buy more armor (if there's others like me out there), removing more gold from the game. Which, as I understand it, is the point of elite armor anyway.

A storage addon for customized items would definitely make a lot of sense. These things have no economic impact at all, after all. Still, it's better now than it used to be, so I'm not inclined to complain.

No, no, no...
But I don't understand something.
With each GW chapter you get char slots and storage space.
You don't get char slots by buying GWEN which is ok because you play GWEN using 'old' characters.
What I don't get is why GWEN doesn't give extra storage slot. There's so much s**t (3 books, collectable drops etc) that... I just don't get it.

The 4th storage tab was a freebe storage tab for the expansion provided when that option came out... This has been stated many times... thats why there was no additional storage in GWEN... It was already provided...

Some things we are going to get in HoM as it turns out that was not planed. One of which is being worked on right now. Minis being put in HoM can be taken back out once customized for the account. And yes it is planned to be retroactive. So this technique will not Duplicate your minis in storage, but it will serve as a place to put them, and take them out when you want to present it. and the customization of said minis is to become account wide. this is mentioned in the official wiki Gaile talk area.

A similar option May happen for armors in the future. So that would be even more storage being freed up... As to spare armors, I just drop a change of armor in my belt pouch. but most of the time I just have head piece changes in there... Not a full set. But I'm sure thats just my playing style.

So we are yet to get some more options it appears for free once again. It may not be exactly what some want, but its something... Storage limitations are what ensures the NPC vendors get items to sell without Anet having to do forced product injections... Dye, Tome / scroll, and Consumables tabs are REALLY not needed... Sure they may be nice to have, but heck so would unlimited storage. But thats just not going to happen....

I have to say /notsigned to this request. I do not believe that increasing the storage capacity will help the economy aspects of the game. I believe if more players start trading items this game could have a chance for more buyers to come out and search for items since there would be in the market. Of course I could be 100% wrong about that but I would prefer to have items being traded than sitting in a storage that consists of approximently 100 slots (Including characters).

Well, sheet. I guess I wasn't prepared for the amount of stuff you have to carry in GWEN since there wasn't so much of it earlier

I just want one thing. Make the current storage bigger with one row of slots, at the top. So you can atleast store a full set or armour in one row. That is all that has been irirtating me really. I have a extra char and she is holding on to my MiniP's so that doesn't bother me all that much.

Now, I would not object to using HoM as system that similar to Festive hat NPC. We can check in the armor, and checkout the armor via Hom. I can see this working with mini-pets, armor, and weapons.

Carrying armor sets on mules isn't very practical when you actually NEED them, which with armor tends to happen occaisonally.

When they were going to expand storage, I thought they would make 1 slot account wide, and the rest character-based. The current setup is pretty good, though.

/Indifferent.

If ANet adds more, cool.
If ANet doesn't add more, bummer.

YES! expand storage....another row per tab would be nice.
and
DYE storage....as well as key storage too (or the keyring thing that had been floating around a while back)

and just using mules isnt working...I have 5 or 6 now plus a few of my characters are also interm storage mules while they wait to be played!

I also like the idea of increased material storage...say 2 stacks of 250 of each material (not the rare stuff, but that would be ok too).
